I like the 6.5 because I use the same bow for 3d and hunting. So it makes it easier to switch up arrows without much tuning.

I would go back to Easton if I could get 4mm and 5 mm arrows with lower gpi. I do not like hunting with an arrow with a weight greater than 450 gn, but prefer 430 gn with a 125 gn solid single bevel. Please, please, please produce lighter arrows for us Western hunters that shoot fast, flat, and longer distances!

That’s exactly why I had to switch to Victory arrows. Lighter GPI.

Victory and Black Eagles top end hunting arrows are very consistent as well. I have a spine tester and they both test as good and shoot good as Easton. Talking hunting arrows here.

John Dudley seems like a good human. Great explanation of why lighted nocks are preferred. I may try them sometimes. I recently bought a dozen XX75 aluminum arrows in 2317 for hunting. First time I am fletching my own arrows and, so far, the build has been very satisfying. Thank you for the fine content.

Just remember that men are 90% of your target for sales. 90% of the people you showed in this video were women who don’t buy your products. Go woke, go broke.

I bet they didn’t shove the woke agenda down your throat back then like they do today. Notice how the majority in this video are women? Weird because 90% of Easton sales are by men. Masculine men at that. We definitely don’t want the woke bs. I will absolutely leave Easton over it.

I once read, compound and crossbows shoot an arrow to fast for hot melt glue, thus when they strike the target, they cannot handle the forces applied to the glue. Is this true? Did Easton reformulate the glue to account for tremendous forces on impact? Thanks.

Its a good video, but why show the difference only over 15" of the shaft and then (logically) state that it would make more of a difference over the whole length?? Seems like it would have made more sense to show over the whole length if you're then going to state it.

    • @shinigami1925

The most important advantage of tungsten points is that they are much shorter than steel points, which makes X10s available to more archers with diverse draw lengths and draw weight combinations, due to the max cut limit on the x10 barreled shafts.

Hi Team-Easton, your UA-cam Shorts are very good 👍. I like that. Adittional information, like where to measure these 6 points (distance to each other), whould be great. This should get given by all arrow producer. This way everyone can Check & sort their set of arrows better 😊 For example: yesterday i shot my old 620 ace/27,32 (pure shaft) and wondered why they act much, much weaker in spine than my 700 victory VAP Elite/27,56. Same setup, 100gn tip. It is confusing, because i always thought even barreled shafts become stiffer when you short them from 28“…so I calculate with just the tip-weight in front of the button. So anywhy I go with Easton because the spine grouping in my set is more precise. 💪🏹
